To continue improving and expanding our digital infrastructure, we are seeking talented Website Designers and Programmers to join our team.
The ideal candidate is passionate about building modern, responsive, and user-friendly websites, while possessing strong technical proficiency across multiple programming languages and frameworks. You will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining our journal websites, ensuring smooth functionality, stable performance, and a seamless experience for authors, reviewers, and readers. This role combines back-end development strength with front-end creativity—turning concepts and visual designs into fully operational web pages.
What You Will Do
Design, develop, and maintain websites for multiple medical journals
Build clean, responsive layouts using CSS, HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, DIV+CSS, Bootstrap
Create dynamic functions and interactive features using PHP, MySQL, AJAX, DOM, BOM
Optimize website performance, security, loading speed, and responsiveness
Implement and maintain submission forms, editorial workflow modules, and online features
Integrate plugins, databases, APIs, and automated components when required
Oversee website updates, troubleshooting, error fixes, and technical improvements
Support server management, hosting configuration, and backup maintenance
Collaborate with designers, editors, and management to bring ideas from concept to launch
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, DIV+CSS
Experience in PHP, MySQL, AJAX, DOM, BOM, and jQuery Carousel
Familiarity with server management, website security, and optimization
Ability to turn design concepts into functional user interfaces
Experience with CMS development or publishing-related systems is an asset
Problem-solving mindset, responsibility, and deadline discipline
